Crazy Busy!

I've been crazy busy the last 4 days. Mom moved to town on Thursday and I spent all morning on Friday at her place unpacking her and then home for lunch and kids naps and then mom came over for dinner. Saturday was Spencer's first soccer game....his team won and he's gonna be a great soccer player. For his first game ever, HE ROCKED! Then after the game I had to go immediately to a cousin's bridal shower 1hr 20mins away and didn't get home til 5:30 and I was beat! Sunday had to go back to mom's and do more unpacking and moving furniture. But her place looks great. Now today is Monday and I'm finally catching up on my own house chores. Spencer and I are practicing writing to get him ready for kindergarten in the fall. He's ready he says, until the day comes and he realizes he's not in Brenden's class! I'm however not ready!

Funny thing to tell my Urbana friends....I met a girl at my cousin's bridal shower who is part of the Michael's family from Michael's Farms. Small world huh? She's 22 so I don't know her and she doesn't have siblings our age but isn't it weird how the "6 degrees of separation" works sometimes. Like how I met Richard and his roomate was dating Emily Compton's sister. (They're now married too. Kristy was one of my bridesmaids if you remember) Just was strange how two guys from Columbus meet and are dating at the same time girls from Urbana.

Anywho, I'm getting anxious for vacation at Outer Banks again. We leave right after school is out for the summer. This weather makes me ready for it. Mom is Bob and Jones sitting for us. Jones is now an indoor/outdoor cat. After years of sneaking out the back door every chance he can get, we decided to get him a flea collar and let him go out too. He can't fit through the slots in the fence so he won't take off. He still can't get used to the fact that he's actually allowed to go out now. He flies to the door when we ask him if he wants to go out, like are you kidding me?? Of course I want to go out. That's it for now....
